A world-leading household name is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to join the team at their beautiful purpose-built dedicated R&D facility in Maidenhead producing innovative technology focused on electro-mechanical machines and multi-axis systems for the automation of product handling, processing, inspection, transfer, storage and distribution.

This role would give you the opportunity to own the Mechatronics development of systems, including design and specification of motors, motion control systems, pcb prototyping and robotics software engineering. In order to be considered for this position you must have:

* Degree in a related subject such as Mechatronics, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering

* Able to design and specify motors, PCB design, motion control systems

* Desirable skills - Robotics, URDF, Python, C++, Visual Studio, Matlab, Github

This opportunity will suit someone who likes being part of a dedicated multi-disciplined project team and wants to develop high end complex automated systems for specialised challenging applications.

This position is within the independent technology-focused division of a large multi-billion£ global group and so is able to offer a generous remuneration package including salary of £35,000 - £50,000 depending upon experience, plus bonuses up to 20%, 27 days holiday, private healthcare, 11% employer pension contributions, on-site gym, free lunch, multiple company share schemes, 4x life cover, flexible benefits scheme (including buy/sell holiday, cinema card, dental cover, retail vouchers)
