Job Title: Software Implementation Consultant - Oil & Gas / Energy Software
The company specialises in the development of cutting-edge software and mobile apps for blue chip companies within the oil & gas and energy industries. With an exciting product roadmap and established sales pipeline, the company is well positioned for continued growth in global markets.
A varied and challenging role working across the business to ensure customer satisfaction. As part of the Customer Success Team, the candidate will become a product expert and be involved in delivering onsite customer training and implementation services as well as a variety of support activities to provide customers with maximum value from their product suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Training - Carrying out training courses at the customer site
- Consultancy - Working with the customer to configure the software to meet business requirements - Be a product / solution expert.
- Follow up and on-going customer support as required
Further Responsibilities:
- Working with customers to get feedback and ideas to shape and contribute to the product roadmap
- Product QA
- Product documentation and learning materials
Required skills:
- Previous training experience in complex software systems in an engineering /technical environment
- Previous experience within oil & gas / energy or process industries.
- Experience of developing training and e-learning materials
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral - You must be able to articulate complex software procedures in a way that is understandable by both new and experienced users
- Ability to quickly understand customer needs and formulate the best solution using their software
- Patience and empathy for end users
- Punctual and reliable
- A team player who can follow and lead when required
- Full driving licence valid in the UK
This is a customer facing role and will require frequent visits across their global customer base as required. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing complex software solutions in an engineering /technical environment. You must be customer focussed with good communication skills and comfortable dealing with people at all levels.
Location:
This role is based in the Aberdeen office and on customer sites (worldwide) as required.
Expected Salary Range: £32000 - £40000 per annum
