Local Marketing Manager - Paddington, London - £150-£200 - 3 Months

The work location is in Paddington, London and is a 3 months contract.

Pay rate is between £150 - £200 per day.

The role is working for a well-established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.

Your key accountabilities will include:

* Own the overall local marketing strategy for Clothing & Home including how we can influence and tie into activity within the Food local marketing activity where appropriate as the outcome we are trying to achieve is for the full business.

* This strategy will need to address the current challenges we face as a business:

* Store closure programme and recapturing the trade which is lost through the closure of these stores

* Significant proportion of stores which face a footfall challenge

* There are also a number of opportunities which will need to be considered:

* How to capitalise on competitor closures

* How can we give stores the tools to self-service activities through the provision of a toolkit (e.g. printing car park posters etc.)

* Recommendation on the budget required in order to support at a local level through a good, better, best approach

* This strategy will need to consider which existing programmes and activity can be leveraged and what additional activity we need to add to our plans in order to drive incremental footfall and sales in our stores. Encompassing all channels both above and below the line

* Stakeholder buy in for the strategy across support functions and retail

* Roll out across all channels including testing of this strategy in order to inform future activity

* Establish and develop on-going relationships with our delivery partners.

Your skills and experience will include

* Must have previous experience in local marketing, campaign and project management

* Preferable to have experience across the full channel mix but the most important channels will be OOH, store signage and press

* Digital mind set and proficient computer skills

* Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage upwards

* Able to demonstrate that you have consumer insight and understanding

* Prior budget management experience

* Strong numeracy skills

* Ability to problem solve and have an eye for detail

* A strong team player who can work in a collaborative way with a can do positive attitude
