Release Manager urgently required on a 6mths + contract based in West London. Working in the quality and releasing team, you will be part of a cross-functional department that includes front-end and back-end software engineers and system release managers. The role will involve a range of day-to-day responsibilities. Primarily this includes the efficient releasing of our system onto our test platforms, follow-up of releasing and test-system stability problems, plus occasional Quality Assurance tasks too.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background as a Release Manager, Proven Project planning/tracking skills, preferably cross-site.
? Knowledge and experience with running Linux scripts to trigger releasing jobs, or triggering (but not administering) Jenkins jobs would be useful but not essential.
? Test system management and test system data management.
? QA activities - manual testing, bug tracking, test automation would be a bonus
? Version control systems like Mercurial or Git.
? Atlassian products: Confluence, BitBucket
