Located in open plan offices in Dublin 2 this high tech technology company requires to hire a Database Developer who is passionate about Data and very creative with it!

Casual dress, fun and collaborative environment, big complex projects, great development team to collaborate with. Join an existing passionate Data team who are very talented. They moved their systems to MySQL over a year ago. Full training will be provided for in this so don't worry if you do not have MySQL knowledge. This role is not a DBA role.

Great basic salary with healthcare, pension, bike to work scheme, 9-530 no overtime, Dublin 2 location, 22 days hols

Working as their Database Developer you will work as part of a small Data team. Their database environment is managed entirely in AWS in Aurora MySQL and SQL Server. If you do not have any MySQL currently but wish to learn it, no problem they will teach it to you! You will work alongside a team of experienced Software Engineers, providing data that feed live services using ElastiCache and Elasticsearch with live updates. Working on exciting and technically challenging large projects, simultaneously.

Key skills

SQL Server - be able to work with advanced queries, built and worked with stored procedures including error handling, views, tables etc.

Data cleaning and conversion of import / expert, from / to different supplier text formats.
