The Job

The role is a hands on Functional Test analyst role working on both testing and quality assurance tasks. Providing expertise in manual functional testing through the development lifecycle whilst helping to mitigate risk and drive quality. The role requires a proactive approach and the drive to take ownership of tasks within the scrum team.

You will be:

*Performing tasks within the scrum team.

*Fully contributing to planning and estimation meetings.

*Engaging with all projects and understanding the need to test business, user stories, end user activities involving both new and existing functionality.

*Developing acceptance criteria into fully functional test scripts / cases and understanding the full process of testing these test scripts / cases and any pertinent information mitigating risk and identifying the quality gauges

*Performing early exploratory testing of testing environments and having a good working knowledge of System Integration, User Acceptance, Operational Acceptance and Functional Regression Testing

Essentials:

*Manual software testing experience in a Microsoft environment

*Good knowledge of Microsoft .Net technologies C#; HTML, MS Windows; MS SQL Server; Flash; Flex.

*Experience of working in a Scrum team

*Knowledge of Agile methods

*Knowledge of test design techniques.

*Working closely with developers, as well as write and execute test scripts
