Senior Cyber Security Analyst

One of our top retail clients is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join their Warwickshire based team. The purpose of this role is to uncover technical security vulnerabilities and to advise the Information Security Manager on associated risks.

You will be responsible for monitoring the operations of IT within the business to ensure security standards are maintained.

Senior Cyber Security Analyst duties will include, but not limited to:

*Reviewing any business IT changes

*Develop and maintain an assessment to provide assurance on the suitability and effectiveness of the IT control environment to meet the company Information Security standards

*Management of vulnerability scan and external PenTest engagements

*Manage external security vendors, and ensure they meet both delivery and performance SLA and KPI's

*Research new threats, assessment and analysis on intrusion detection

*Create security operation reports

As the Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will be required to possess:

*Strong understanding of Risk Management, Data Protection Act, EU GDPR, PCI DSS and ISO 2700x standards

*Applications security and relevant standards

*Knowledge of threats and technologies effecting Web Application vulnerabilities, Endpoints, Infrastructure and recent threats

*Good knowledge of networking technologies and operating systems
