Solutions Architect.

Location: Durban.

Salary: Competitive.

-This role consists of building constructing and carrying out client facing technology solutions.

-Performing a pre-sales function, ensuring that the solution sold to the customer is optimal.

-The candidate must be competent with the latest technologies.

-Comfortable working with the unknown, being able to reason and preserve to find a solution.

Required Technical Skills.

Must be able to:

-Design and Deploy effective cloud and hybrid solutions for larger enterprises.

-Perform WAN routing configurations

-Perform Switch level configurations and LAN routing

-Able to troubleshoot WAN/LAN connectivity issues

- Able to monitor/ troubleshoot connectivity issues using performance management tools.

-Must be strong in Documentation.

-Interpret key performance metrics to optimise service levels.

-Deliver highest levels of network service to supporting users and applications.

-Deliver the highest levels of network service to supporting users and applications.

-Work with end-user team in isolating application related issues.

-Full understanding of the core technologies and relationships between on premise and cloud solutions.

-Knowledge of Azure cloud services.

-Full Knowledge of Microsoft server infrastructure.

-Good troubleshooting skills

-Capable of mentoring other members of the team.

Key Skills.

-Develop and deploy effective cloud and hybrid solutions for large enterprises.

-Carry out the management and maintenance of the clients environment.

- Ensure operational efficiency of 'Service' delivered by client facing technology

-Carry out operational efficiency of clients and IT escalations support.

-Mentor and collaborate with colleagues.

-Carry out administrative/procedural duties and documentation of standards and processes

- Work to improve desktop support and other end user services through documentation and processes.

- Must be able to understand and enforce the best practice methodologies.

-Use communication and awareness to improve business and IT synergy.

-Provide support within Cloud Logic.

-Coordinate and lead technical desktop and application projects.

-Contribute to and measure professional development.

-Carry out the highest levels of customer service to all areas of the business

Personal Skills Required:

-Must have strong analytical and problem-solving ability

-Must be creative in problem solving and solution creation

-Must be able to communicate, delegate and measure outcomes/deliverables

-A professional who sets and maintain high standards of quality

-Energetic and restless to achieve

-Must be structured, and use controls and processes to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity

-Ability to define controls and processes that will improve efficiency and/or quality

Technical Certifications/Experience:

-Experience in Cloud architecture and services

-Windows Server or Desktop (MCSE preferable)

-ITIL certified and/or suitable qualifications (ITIL)

-Must be fluent in Active Directory (MCSE preferable)

-Desktop/device systems management and automated deployment (SCCM)

-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint

-Strong architecture background.

-Strong Applications delivery

-Desktop Architecture and Systems management (MCITP)

-Must be strong with Technology Management toolset.

-Data security, Data reporting and data analysis background preferable.

-Extensive experience in IT systems.
