Senior Database Administrator - Senior Oracle DBA with SQL role within this consultancy and software product development firm. Our clients business is booming. You will help provide DBA activities for both client projects and product development. You will perform day to day DBA tasks for multiple projects; design, build & configure databases on both Windows and Linux servers; design/create tables views and indexes to support application development activities etc. You will also lead the team. The role is based in Milton Keynes with occasional travel to our clients global sites. Our clients landscape is predominately Oracle together with some SQL Server databases. It is preferred this person is stronger with Oracle but also has some SQL DBA skills.

Skills Required:-

DBA skills on both Oracle and SQL Server - ideally a strong Oracle DBA with some SQL Server would be preferred.

Experience with performance analysis and database tuning

Experience with installing, creating, configuring & sizing databases.

Databases design

Scripting & automation skills.
