Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Technical Architect for an initial 3 month contract based in Glasgow on a rate of c.£500-600/day (outside of IR35).

Responsibilities:

* Design the technical structure of the organisation's integrated corporate applications, and oversee programs of work to ensure the proper architecture is implemented.

* Responsible for core business/ERP systems.

* Responsible for bespoke integrated applications.

* Responsible for system-to-system integrations.

* Responsible for data migrations.

* Responsible for enterprise data management.

Experience with the following:

* Enterprise technical architecture and standards.

* Software solution analysis, design, development and implementation.

* Design and implementation of data migration and integration solutions.

* Software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Agile).

* Project/programme leadership (e.g. SDLC, Prince2, AgilePM).

* ERP/Corporate Systems technical implementation, data migration and integration lead.

* Software development tools & languages (e.g. Java, C#, .NET, SQL, PL-SQL, HTML)

* Design & development of integrations using standard web technologies (e.g. JSON, XML, XLST, SOAP and REST web services).

* Experience with Tribal Stu-talk or other integration platforms (e.g. Microsoft, Mulesoft).

* Experience with software project and source code management tools (e.g. Jira, GitHub, Microsoft).

* Experience with Tribal SITS, Unit 4 ISIS, Blackboard and Oracle eBusiness Suite etc. would be advantageous.
