As (SITS) Developer, you will have experience with (SITS) development and assessment screens. You will have a strong delivery focus, in order to utilise (SITS) to create robust student systems within a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge:

*Educated to at least degree level, or with equivalent work experience Knowledge of a variety of techniques for requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation and validation

*Well-developed knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS

*Extensive knowledge of service operation and continual service improvement Knowledge of university process and culture

*Understanding of enterprise application architecture/SOA

*Experience of implementing, supporting, and developing (SITS) Experience of developing e: Vision (Back-End and Front-End)

*User experience web design

*Experience with StuTalk is desirable

*Experience with HESA

*Knowledge of student information application and data integration

*Higher Education background

Skills:

The role requires a wide range of functional development skills. The developer will be required to deal with a variety of technologies which will be dictated by the business/operational needs and with a wide variety of people in roles of all levels:

*Good interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to customer service.

*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

*Good personal time management skills, with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload, and maintain confidentiality

*Ability to write, present and process reports and other formal documentation accurately

*Willingness to develop new skills including ability to familiarise rapidly with new tools and software packages

*Understanding of data quality issues and best practice
