Media Developer

About the Role?

At Babcock Marine we are looking for Media Developers to deliver high quality e-learning training media development services to the UAE Naval Training Centre (NTC) Programme. Responsible to the UAE NTC Media Development Manager, we are looking for dynamic, talented and innovative individuals to deliver instructional design and development processes.

* Production of media in support of the e-learning requirements of the UEA NTC project

* Ensure that media produced is of the required standard

* Continually improve the way they contribute to the business

* Ensure that they work in an effective collaborative manner with the project team, displaying the appropriate behaviours at all times

* Be responsible for the adherence of Babcock policies and procedures within the development utilising UAE NTC Courseware production process, Development and Acceptance Processes and UAE NTC Courseware Design Document

* Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on the use of training media for e-Iearning.

* Identification and implementation of best practice in all areas of Graphic Design, Multi-Media, Photography, Video, and Video Editing

What do I need to do the role?

You will need to hold a degree level qualification or demonstrable track record in media design and delivery

At least 3 years' experience in developing technology based design solutions (such as e-learning, multimedia, websites and promo)

Understanding of web design standards, responsive design and UI / UX design

A working understanding of tools such as HTML5 / CSS3 / Javascript / PHP / SQL

Basic understanding of C# / C++

Desirable

* Experience with Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator

* Recent experience in training design and development

* Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures

What else do I need to know?

The role is based in Collingwood, Fareham

Successful candidates will be required to obtain appropriate clearance for this role, BPSS Clearance
