We require an experienced, professional, and well-presented Support Engineer to work in a Central London office for a prestigious organisation. The role will see you provide support to all levels up-to Senior Management (COO/CFO/CEO/CIO)

37.5 hours per week covering 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

* Delivering excellent customer experience to highest standards, while actively contributing to the improvement of IT departmental processes and procedures.

* Investigating and solving technical incidents, supporting desktop operating systems, applications, networks, and hardware (Desktop/Laptop/Mobile Devices/Printers)

* The Executive Support Engineer will be providing a professional service to senior internal customers, ensuring that incidents and faults are logged and handled to closure, working with colleagues and third parties in order to provide a solution

* You will be responsible for incident management, installations, problem isolation and resolution and customer service

* The role will be based on and around support of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Active Directory, and associated network protocols

* IT Onboarding process for new starters, i.e. account creation, laptop build, software installation and basic end user training

* Concierge function for meetings, supporting WebEx and Skype for Business video conferences on Cisco Spark Room Kit, Surface Hub and Logitech Smart Dock platforms.

Skills/Experience:

* Previous experience in a VIP Support role and ideally some level of IT qualifications (MCP or similar)

* Windows Desktop Operating Systems, such as Windows 7, 32 & 64 bit as well as Proven knowledge and experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office

* Experience of HP MFP's

* Networking knowledge e.g. LAN/WAN Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.

* Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Administration.

* Ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with Executives.
