My Edinburgh based client are currently looking to hire an IT Infrastructure Analyst to join their growing team. This role would be well suited to a helpdesk professional with 1-3 years experience who is keen to take their next step in their career.

What will the role involve?

The position will focus on the analysis, triage and escalation of incidents in a global infrastructure. The role will include extensive route cause analysis and the successful candidate will work to identify recurring issues, developing a long term solution to these. This may involve liaising with both internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve the desired outcome.

You will proactively strengthen the core infrastructure platform and will gain exposure to an incredibly broad tech stack inclusive of cloud, virtualization, server and linux.

There are a number of monitoring tools utilised and training will be given to support these, however Solarwinds is the predominant tool in use.

What experience do I require?

* You should be able to demonstrate experience of route cause analysis and solution development within a helpdesk environment.

* You should have strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking.

* You should have experience of monitoring via Solarwinds.

* You should be highly personable and be comfortable in engagement with stakeholders of all levels

What's in it for me?

My client will offer a highly competitive salary and have confirmed that there is a significant progression route internally, enabling the successful candidate to gain exposure to a broad range of technology.
