Microsoft Collaboration Lead Architect (Exchange Server, Skype for Business Enterprise Voice, Microsoft Teams) - Birmingham - 6 Month Contract

My client, a large technology consultancy are looking for a Lead Architect to join them in Birmingham on a 6 month contract basis. The position will be working alongside one of my clients Financial Services customers and can offer a competitive daily rate.

Role Background:

* This position is for a Lead Architect to undertake pre-sales and post sales optimisation of the solution.

* You will be responsible for all technical pre-sales activities including assessing the customers current environment through various capacity planning and monitoring activities.

* You will also need to Review 3rd party proposals for Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams Enterprise Voice and Unified Communications to understand and be fully aware of risk, assumptions, likely issues, dependencies, scope and deliverables.

* The client also expects that you will maintain a high degree of technical knowledge across a portfolio of products and technologies, within the Microsoft UC eco-system, to support the strategic needs of the business.

Required Skills:

* The client is looking for candidates with expert level knowledge of Exchange Server, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams and the Office 365 package.

* IP PBX experience is also of interest as well as an understanding of Telecom protocols i.e. PRI, T-1, Bonded T-1, Metro Area Networks, E911, E164 Dialling, ISDN, SIP QOS, Least Cost Routing, Dial Plans, Global and User based policies

* Any experience of other Unified Communications technologies would be beneficial and project experience of migrating from previous or third party systems.

* The client has also expressed that it would be ideal if candidates have experience of Enterprise voice, PSTN Calling and Conferencing, Persistent Chat Configuration and Deployment, Small Branch Appliance, Session Border Controller.

* Candidates should also be eligible and willing to undergo a background check prior to starting.
