Lead Developer - £55,000 - Glasgow

Undergoing a significant change implementing Power BI and upgrading to new databases. I am looking for a Lead Developer who is passionate about database development & reporting to join them on their new exciting journey..

My client is looking for someone to join who will be a key part in shaping the business MI and BI and have the opportunity to make the role your own, also supporting Head of MI & Insight in driving forward key projects with stakeholders.

What we need from you

* SQL Server - 2012 or above preferred

* Strong experience using T-SQL for BI and reporting

* Extensive SSRS and SSIS skills

* Experience of Power BI would be nice

* Analytical and creative thinking with the ability to identify and prioritise opportunitie

* Proven experience of designing data warehouse solutions from the ground up including data modelling, ETL processes and reporting

* Re-develop existing databases and reporting and be a key player in developing new MI soluations

* Strong stakeholder management skills

* 50% split team leading and technical work

* A pro-active attitude, willing to overcome challenges and see issues through to a successful solution
