The primary objective of this role is to support the Data Systems Lead and Lead Developer in the development and implementation of Comic Relief's Supporter Data Warehouse, related integration systems, with an emphasis on data migration, ETL and data integration, and to support the team with a basic BI reporting capability.

Key responsibilities:
Responsible for design, development, testing and maintenance of data ETL processes into the Single Supporter View (Comic Relief's Supporter Data Warehouse) under the direction of the Data Systems Team Lead and Lead Developer.
Assist in the development, management and maintenance of pre-existing database systems and applications, and proactively develop new solutions to automate and streamline data integration processes to ensure the efficient and effective use of data across the organisation.
Provide secondary support for reporting systems implemented in, for example, Business Objects, SSRS, Grafana, Power BI.
Provide complete and accurate systems documentation, including all relevant aspects of the systems environment, processes and procedures, and to ensure that this is updated accordingly.
Exploring new technologies to achieve optimal solutions, and work on technology projects outside of the core SQL/database remit.

Essential Education and Competencies:

Development and support of automated ETL packages between web platforms, backend databases and business systems.
Fluency in SQL.
Building complex reporting solutions.
Database Administration.
Agile development process.
Software version control, including building, releasing and implementing database schema changes.
Communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Problem solving skills.
