Main Purpose of the Role
You will have the opportunity to lead engineer project teams to deliver technology solutions to SeeByte's customers including Military and Oil and Gas customers worldwide.
The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience managing technology development and engineering teams or have a commercial track record that demonstrates the ability to step-up to this level of responsibility. The applicant should have project and people management skills within a software development environment and should be comfortable interacting with clients and partners, and leading technology development efforts.
While experience in the Maritime Robotics domain is desired, it is not essential if demonstrable technical leadership qualities and an interest in the subject can be shown. Support and training will be given to allow you to develop within the role to become a senior member of SeeByte's engineering team.
This role is suitable for engineers with 5+ years commercial engineering experience.
The following areas of experience are desirable:
Experience in software relevant to the maritime robotics domain
Experience developing technical proposals for new programs of work
Experience developing, updating and managing QA and software development models
Technology roadmapping and gap analysis.
