Software Delivery Manager (Gaming) - Contract - London- £Competitive daily rate

My client creates, develops and markets interactive online gaming applications, including slingo, slots and casino real-money products. To help expand our offering, we are a looking for a Delivery Manager to join us at our base near Southwark station in a new role created to support our expanding global B2B business.

As an experienced Agile Delivery Manager (5 yrs+), you will be leading the delivery of new features and user functionality onto our casino platform, working across web and native applications, as well as supporting back office tools.

You will be managing multi-disciplinary software teams, working closely with product, design, operations, and customer support teams, to plan and execute delivery. Using a framework based on Agile processes, you will be responsible for delivering the prioritised roadmap and feature backlog in partnership with the Product Owners in addition to leading the delivery all the way through to the production environment, steering sign-off and supporting releases.

Working with the Head of Delivery and broader technical teams you will be actively involved in roadmap and resource planning, and will be responsible for maintaining and developing delivery plans.

About you

You will have a solid understanding of software development processes, specifically Agile, with a consistent track record of delivery and be comfortable take care of multiple contending priorities in a fast-paced business environment. Working knowledge of Jira will also be important. You will be the champion for our delivery processes, and will be actively involved in identifying ways to constantly improve the delivery processes.

You will be skilled in risk and issue management and confident in making sure action plans to mitigate and resolve delivery risks are created. You will be are comfortable running planning and estimation sessions, arranging demo / feedback sessions, and producing burndown / burn-up charts and data driven reports.

Ideally you will also have experience of Confluence, and knowledge of the gaming industry would be helpful.
