SC/DV Cleared Change and Configuration Analyst

£280-£320 per day

My Government Client require a Change and Configuration Analyst to be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day Change and Configuration Management activities.

Ensuring established Change & Configuration Management methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all Changes, in order to minimise any disruption of services and consequently to improve the day-to-day operations of the organisation.

The Analyst may also be required to update/create Configuration Items (CI's) within Configuration Management Database (CMDB) following the implementation of a change.

To provide support or training to users on the Service Now Management Tool (ITSM).

Essential:

*ITIL V3 Foundation qualified

*Experience of working within Change, Configuration or Release in a demanding and complex environment

*Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and to communicate clearly with a range of people at different levels of the organisation, including the ability to liaise, explain and discuss complex issues using a range of tools, styles and techniques

*Demonstrable understanding of the pressures and demands of a fast-moving, complex outsourcer environment

*Demonstrable ability to plan, prioritise and co-ordinate own and team activities

*Knowledge and experience of ITIL service management good practice, particularly Change and Configuration Management

*Ability to estimate risk of potential business impact from minimal data or identify the need to request further information.

*Proven ability to persuade and influence others using a variety of communication styles.

*Experience of working with complex multi system, multi-site environment

*Ability to facilitate meetings and manage any conflicts to an acceptable resolution.

*Experience of working with Service Management tools

Desirable:

*Knowledge of operating IT systems within Government environments

*ITIL Intermediate Qualified

*Knowledge of documenting processes and procedures

*Experience of Configuration Management tools

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
