Tester - QA Engineer - London Tester - QA Engineer - London - Our client based in new and vibrant offices is looking for an experienced QA Engineer - Tester to join the team working both BAU and Project work. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a new role based in a cool location.  If you have a blend of the following:-Responsibilities:

'€¢Define effective BDD-based functional and non-functional tests, ensuring adequate depth and breadth of test coverage'€¢Creating and maintaining high-quality test suites and test cases (in test management tool TestRail) for manual testing'€¢Peer reviewing Test Suites from other members of the QA team'€¢Improve the existing test suite structure and ensure that the content in the test scenarios satisfies and complements the business requirements and contributes to successful test execution'€¢Participate in the preparation of the test automation scenarios (step definitions and feature files in SpecFlow framework with Selenium)'€¢Actively support Agile development methods and best practices'€¢Support other QAs in their work to ensure the spread of good practice and knowledge'€¢Share knowledge and provide guidance to the QA team'€¢Manage day to day task allocation within the sprint, for your tasks and for the QA team members'€¢Assist business test team (UAT)'€¢Using Jira to track defects and tasks

Knowledge and Experience:

'€¢Extensive experience in Software Testing within a full lifecycle software engineering environment, preferably in an agile or iterative development environment'€¢Solid understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies'€¢Strong hands-on experience in test planning, execution and maintenance of test scenarios'€¢Hands on experience of manual testing including responsiveness and cross-browser of public Web Applications'€¢Experience in defining functional and non-functional testing frameworks'€¢Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases'€¢Understanding of risk identification and analysis'€¢Great communication skills

'€¢Experience with test automation tools and strategies, ideally with Cucumber'€¢Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, TestRail'€¢ISTQB qualifications
