Frontend Developer

Would you like to use React to help visualise and present a wide range of quantitative data?

The leading provider of data into the European energy market is looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join their offices in Berlin. Become part of an international, newly formed team and bring in your knowledge and skills to help develop the organisation's market analytics application.

As a Frontend Developer you will be working together with the UI/UX design team and take an active part in the decision-making process on how the application should look and work. Working in close interaction with the analytics team, you are going to play a big part in shaping new products and features.

As a Frontend Developer you should have the following:

Required:

Computer Science (or equivalent) degree or relevant industry experience

Relevant experience in developing web applications

Proficient understanding of JavaScript and ReactJS

Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

Good knowledge of tools like Webpack and Yarn

Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git

Excellent English communication skills

Desired:

Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and content management systems

Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
