At innocent we’re enjoying an exciting period of growth, which means broadening our portfolio of on-premise and cloud based solutions to keep up with the growing demand for new ways of working - we’re looking for a Systems Engineer to join us in the vital role of being the glue between our applications and the rest of the business.

This is a role for someone with good technical experience and a strong desire to leave things better than they find them. Our goal is having our systems and data integrated in ways which will streamline our processes and give us systems that are simple and efficient to use, leaving people to get on with the important work of delivering delicious drinks.

We’re at the start of an exciting period in which you’ll be responsible for integrating new systems into our estate and upgrading existing on-premise solutions, while always remaining on the lookout for new, innovative applications that can be introduced to push innocent onwards and upwards.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is able to take a step back and understand how our systems work for the business and our partners. You’ll be working in an exciting, growing business and get to work with great people from all over the company as you work to fully understand how our systems work for them.

Working within the Systems Engineering & Integration team, and alongside our wider IT & Business Change team, you’ll be responsible for helping to deliver change that affects the entire business, from improvements to systems to incorporate single sign-on, to APIs and the integration of new applications. You’ll also be responsible for delivering upgrades to our business systems such as MSSQL, Microsoft Dynamics and cloud based solutions.

This is a key role for us as you’ll be part of a team that is crucial in helping us to deliver our IT roadmap, which in turn is key to the business achieving its ambitions for further growth.

You'll have:

-Natural problem solver with great attention to detail who can also understand the bigger picture and apply that understanding to deliver simple solutions to complex problems

-Good communication skills (written & verbal) and collaborative working style (Experience working with cross functional teams and third party suppliers)

-Some understanding of and ideally experience working with and integrating different solutions including in-house developed, third party on-premise and cloud based systems

-A passion for technology and finding innovative applications to help others do their jobs more efficiently and easily

-Solid understanding of databases and SQL including experience of troubleshooting database solutions

Any of the following would be an extra bonus:

IT / Computer Science degree

Experience using Microsoft Azure

Some exposure to Microsoft development languages

Experience in a similar sized business/ IT function to innocent
