We are searching for a Database Administrator (DBA) to work within the IT team for this very exciting client.

You will assist with the development and maintenance of several internal systems. The primary languages and environments used are;

- MS SQL Server

- SSRS

- VBA

- MS-Excel

You will be responsible for writing database queries, carrying out data cleansing, assisting with the development of new queries and reports, to meet the requirements of the company's objectives

You will carry out tasks both as part of a project team and on an individual basis.

You will be expected to quickly develop a strong operational knowledge of the company and be able to effectively communicate with staff at all levels.

At times you will also provide cover as a technical resource and will help to train end-users.

KNOWLEDGE & SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS

- Demonstrate excellent MS Excel skills.

- Have a good understanding of VBA.

- Have a good understanding of MS SQL Server and SSRS.

- Be a logical thinker and problem solver.

- Have excellent organisational skills.

- Be highly numerate and able to manipulate raw data.

- Show a desire to acquire further applicable skills through research and training.
