I am recruiting a Project Engineer to work for a market leading engineering company that undertakes critical engineering work worldwide. You would support the UK's largest nuclear delivery organisation and lead some of the country's most significant nuclear projects.

This is a very exciting time to join the nuclear industry. There is a strong drive from government to show progress on nuclear projects. The projects undertaken by our multi discipline engineering team are of national importance, therefore, innovation and efficiency play a key role in our approach.

You would join like-minded Engineers as part of the Fuel Route Improvement Team and would be responsible for the successful delivery of FRIT projects. A large part of the role would be liaising with Stakeholders and developing key relationships to ensure the flow of relevant information.

Responsibilities:

* Successful delivery of FRIT projects which includes, but not limited to, production of Engineering Change proposals, engineering/procurement specifications, engineering drawings, method Statements and Commissioning/Test schedules.

* Liaising with key stakeholders, operations, maintenance, suppliers and other site contractors. Co-ordinate interactions between implementation team, designers, project personnel and the client to ensure the flow of relevant information.

* Leading and supervising a working party, ensuring the company and their customer's safety rules are upheld at all times. Monitor performance to ensure they are proactive in maintaining health, safety and environmental arrangements/rules.

* To maintain and develop knowledge within your discipline whilst cross skilling into other disciplines.

* Taking responsibility for your own training and development.

Required Experience

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

* Experience of working in a Project Engineer role with a mechanical or EC&I bias.

* An ability to manage projects from low to high complexity, managing and leading diverse multi-disciplined teams.

* An aptitude and openness to learning, along with a proven ability to function effectively as a team member.

* A wide range of high level interpersonal skills, including but not limited to verbal/non-verbal communication, problem solving, decision making, negotiation and time management.

* A background in the nuclear industry would be preferred but is not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading organisation and progress your career in an interesting environment. If you are looking for your next opportunity, please either apply online or contact Gemma Rogan on 0117 9309 739 or at
