Global Insurance Company currently seeks a Head of IT / Enterprise Systems Manager to be responsible (at a senior level equal to that of deputy-CIO) for all Enterprise level Consumer Lines systems across EMEA. You will effectively hold IT ownership for all systems relating to Accident & Health, Speciality Products (Directors & Officers for example) and other Personal Lines products and their systems.

Working closely with the Personal Lines business you will become involved with bids and processes relating to the placement of business via the end user sales channels and then be responsible for all aspects of IT delivery for consumer lines for both internal business customers and the external accounts. Relationship Management will form a major part of your role. Additionally your responsibilities will include ensuring alignment of Consumer Lines systems with Global IT, management of IT strategies to meet the business needs and driving the development, implementation and adoption of IT solutions that meet strategic goals and service quality. Budgetary oversight and management (with support from the PMO) will also form part of this role as will deputisation for the regional CIO including ownership of the P&L as required.

We are searching for a Head of IT / Enterprise Systems Manager / Application Owner who has a deep understanding of Insurance systems (Underwriting and Sales/Brokerage) and in particular Consumer Lines businesses including Accident & Health and Speciality Lines. Speciality Lines within SME markets would be of significant interest and may include Directors and Officers and related markets. You will also have a cross-over background into core commercial lines such as Property & Casualty Insurance.

You will be able to demonstrate an ability to manage senior level staff, engage very senior level stakeholders on a global basis and have a broad technological focus across enterprise software applications. You will possess exceptional Account and Relationship Management abilities along with strategy development and implementation skills.
