Java Developer

Searching for a new job can be tiresome to say the least. The same advert written by the same group of recruiters over and over again. That's why I am hoping for this one to short, engaging and informative.

I am recruiting on behalf of a huge digital consultancy firm, with roles across the United Kingdom, who are looking to hire Java Developers of all levels to join their team of experts. This is part of a large recruitment drive which is aiming to improve the way their services are delivered to clients. You will be working with a client base including some of the biggest banks in Europe, including 16 out of the 20 biggest banks on the continent.

There are positions across a number of levels from mid-level right through to lead. As you progress through the levels you will gain more responsibilities and more opportunities to mentor other developers who are coming through the ranks.

Logistically, you will be based in the Edinburgh office and will work from the office daily. As you progress and become more senior you can expect to attend client meetings, often at their base but these are normally fairly local.

In terms of skills, as always, there are a few things my client are looking for. These include:

* A background in Java 8.

* A strong understanding of the Spring Framework.

* Demonstrable experience with Hibernate.

With this strong background in Java technologies you will also be provided with industry leading training to aid your development. This is because my client is a 'tech first' company and they take on projects based on how interesting they are, as oppose to how much money they bring in.

I know that salary can be very important when deciding on a new job. For that reason, I am not going to beat around the bush with this. On offer are salaries between £35000 to £60000 (DOE).
