We are looking for individuals who have taken a career break of 18months or much longer and are looking to return to the workplace. Successful candidates will receive significant training and support to help them transition into their new role. The world of technology is fast moving and there are excellent opportunities to find a fulfilling role that also provides the flexibility you need. All roles are available on a 4 or 5 day a week basis. Who Are We? Nomura is a financial services group with an integrated global network spanning over 30 countries with head offices in Asia. By connecting markets East & West, we service the needs of individuals, institutions, corporates and governments through our four business divisions: Retail, Asset Management, Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking), and Merchant Banking. What is an offer? The Technology Returner programme will be based in our London office and is designed for experienced IT professionals who are ready to build on previous skills and experience and want to embrace new opportunities ahead. The paid programme commences on April 29th and finishes on the 19th July 2019. At the end of the 3-month programme, participants are invited to apply for a number of open roles on offer. The number and type of roles available will be outlined during the programme and while we can't guarantee a permanent role, we can ensure you will have developed valuable skills, exposure to a wide-reaching and influential network and involvement in high impact projects in a global financial services company. We are looking for Returners to join us who have previous experience as IT Business Analysts, IT Project Managers, and Developers. The specific opportunities on offer include: IT Strategic Projects Manager, CTO Office IT Software Engineer IT Business Analyst Team Leader IT Security Consultant IT Project Manager Hybrid IT Project Manager/IT Business Analyst The programme is open to women and men who have had a career break of at least 18 months and have a minimum number of 5 years professional experience. You will need to be able to work in our City based London office for the duration of the programme and be eligible to work in the UK from April 2019 to July 2019. Opportunities are available on a 4 or 5 days a week basis pending your preference. How will I be supported? Our goal is to support you back into the workplace and get a taste of a career in a global investment bank. You will have the support of your line manager, your coach and your buddy. We also have employee networks that you can join to build your network across the firm. Prior to and during the 12 weeks you will be provided with a pre-commencement coaching and training day from Inclusivity, a one day induction to our organisation, three personal coaching sessions delivered by Inclusivity's specialist coach, and relevant technical training for your role. Remuneration and Benefits Each opportunity will have a salary, aligned with market rates. You will also have access during the programme to other Nomura services such as emergency childcare and adult dependent care, fitness centre, onsite restaurant and onsite GP, nurse and dental practice.
