Hereford (HR1)

£30,000 - £45,000 p/a

Multiple .NET Software Engineers required for a large expansion of my clients technical team in Hereford. Your primary focus as .NET Software Engineer will be to design, implement and support software and system solutions that meet the needs of the business.

My client is one of the fastest growing businesses in an exciting market that's dominating technology at the moment and they're developing a product that is used by north of 5 million end users on an almost daily basis!

If you want to be part of a business that is ever-changing to adapt to the latest technology then this is the opportunity for you. Moving forward you will be exposed to .NET CORE 2.1 in a Microservices architecture.

You will...

* Create, maintain and support software applications.

* Work on multiple projects concurrently.

* Use specified design patterns and adhere to coding practices.

* Assist in the determination of operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposing solutions.

* Diagnose and implement new product features and bug fixes in large, multi-tiered systems.

* Coordinate with tech leads and other engineers working on related deliverables.

* Assist in communicating ideas and developing strategy through presentations, demonstrations and specifications.

* Proactively recommend changes in policies and procedures.

You need...

* Experience of using at least one object oriented programming language, preferably within the .NET framework.

* Experience of using SQL Server directly via Management interface or software application.

* Ability to solve problems and provide workable solutions or workarounds.

* Ability to continually learn and adapt to new technologies and implement where suitable.

* Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to handle and effectively prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.

* Flexible and adaptable to a changing working environment.
