For our client, a software company based in Munich, we are looking for a QA Automation Engineer that contributes to a reliable user experience of their HR operating system by using scalable quality assurance methodologies.

Responsibilities:

* Identification of testing requirements and their implementation as a stakeholder in the agile Scrum process (Text for job posting: by working with our product teams, become an expert in the product, it's use cases and requirements as well as technical implications for testing)

* Automated and manual testing

*

* Exploratory testing

* Improvement of the existing test suite by analyzing coverage gaps, writing automated tests (Unit, Integration and E2E tests), helping improve the overall test suite performance.

* Introduction of best practices in automated testing across and within product teams

* Research best practice tools and processes

* Test integration in the CI/CD process

* Coaching product teams to write reliable test suit

* KPIs

* Codebase test coverage

* Speed of test suite

* Number of regressions

Required experience:

* Over 5 years of experience in a QA engineering role (implement from scratch)

* Knowledge and ability to create tests across full testing spectrum (from unit tests to e2e tests)

* Must have experience with end to end testing

* Experience with Web Product-centric (SaaS preferable) environments

* Strong software engineering background, understanding of OOP

* Experience with one of the scripting languages (JS, Python, PHP, Ruby) and ability to automate routine tasks

* Experience with one of the e2e testing automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium + phpunit or behat, Cypress, in general something from here)

* Knowledge of web software development life cycle and CI/CD (Gitlab, Jenkins)

* Experience with performance testing (Gatling)

* Experience with set up and utilization of human readable test frameworks (e.g. Cucumber, behat)

* Experience with PHP, Laravel and one of the MVC frameworks
