Role: Android Developer

Rate: £450 - £550 a day (ballpark)

Location: Sheffield

Length: 3 monthly rolling

Client: My client are looking for a Android developer to join them in building products for some of the biggest names in telecomunications. They are a growing sixty-plus team based in Sheffield who build and deliver large scale app and game projects for international clients such as Mattel, PBS and DreamWorks. Working on a huge variety of projects and technologies, so there's always something new and interesting to work on.

Requirements:

* Experience with Android Development / Native Android / Android SDK

* Some experience of developing /integrating Java applications

* Understanding of fundamental design principles and best practices used to create scalable applications

Desirable Skills:

* Knowledge of Agile software development practices

* Any experience in writing tests and some test driven development

* Knowledge of other back end languages/frameworks such as node or java spring or even modern front end frameworks such as React Native

Our Process:

* Work as part of a small team of Developers and a Product Owner

* Planning work in an agile Scrum process

* Conducting pair programming when beneficial

* Performing and receiving regular code reviews
