Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a UNIX Engineer to join their support and delivery team. Your role will involve a mixture of support activities and project-based delivery work.

Key Skills Required

* Prior history of working in a busy production support environment.

* Strong knowledge of both Redhat Enterprise Linux and Solaris.

* Effective troubleshooting skills across all areas (HW, OS, network, storage, system services, etc.)

* Good knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting and at least one other programming language.

* Understanding of Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

* Willingness and ability to work in a fast-moving dynamic team-oriented environment.

* Good communication & relationship management skills.

Desirable Skills:

* CM and Continuous Integration Tools: ansible, git, jenkins, puppet, etc.

* Veritas Storage Foundation and Cluster Server in a SAN based environment.

* Storage technologies: EMC, NetApp, IBM XiV.
