Job summary

Our financial services client needs an IT Business Analyst with experience in process automation and ideally AI technologies to join their growing team.

The successful applicant will serve as the liaison between the business teams that produce content and the technology team. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented and highly innovative.

You will also be responsible for translating business needs to IT solutions, and vice versa, with current programs, projects and technology capabilities in mind.

Responsibilities

* Partner with the business process engineers to identify steps in the process that could be automated.

* Run workshops to obtain requirements from business process engineer and subject matter experts in the Content organisation.

* Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion

* Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware and IT processes

* Document user stories (JIRAs) for development team.

* Prioritise user stories.

* Assist with testing of system, UAT and go live.

* Some data modelling may be required - to deliver data dictionaries and describe use of the content within downstream applications.

Qualifications and skills

* Bachelor's Degree

* 10+ years' experience in technology development and deployment

* Experience of large scale platform migrations would be useful

* A background in Financial Services would be preferable
