The Modern Workplace Consultant

We are now recruiting for a Modern Workplace Consultant to join our busy Consultancy team. Reporting to the Team Manager, you’ll be responsible for the design and delivery of technical solutions within the Professional Services, technical delivery practice. The main technical areas include Citrix, Netscaler, Windows 10 and EM+S.

The role itself will remain to be largely project delivery focused, however, dependant on experience; it may also include elements of Pre-sales, Knowledge sharing with development of the wider teams, Development of IP and Customer envisioning sessions

Modern Workplace Consultant Key Responsibilities:

+ Leading meetings and project definition workshops for customer engagements;

+ Leading the design and implementation phases for the projects;

+ Completing the quality assurance of solutions delivered by other technical consultants;

+ Assisting other technical consultants on problem areas and issues experienced in delivering project work for customers;

+ Ensuring that the development of in project documentation is kept up to date, that documentation is adhered to and a template for all future project work;

+ Supporting the sales team in engaging with customers on technical solutions;

+ Assisting the sales team with writing statement of works and project proposals.

Modern Workplace Consultant Required Skills and Experience:

+ Experience in project methodologies, such as PRINCE2 & ITIL;

+ Exceptional verbal and written communication;

+ Excellent commercial awareness in projects and program delivery;

+ Customer service orientation;

+ Strong escalation and problem-solving skills;

+ Excellent communication skills both oral and written with the ability to influence and articulate an opinion effectively;

+ Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work cross-functionally and interact confidently with multiple stakeholders;

+ Goal-orientated, tenacious and results-driven approach to work with the ability to meet and exceed expectations, targets and deadlines;

+ Demonstrated ability to prioritise, manage time and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment;

+ Proactive in approach with a flexible attitude;

+ A self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision;

+ Team player - understands the importance of collaborative working.

Qualifications/Certificates:

+ Key Certs:

+ + Citrix CCP-V;

+ + Citrix CCE-N;

+ + MCSA Windows 10;

+ + MCSA Cloud Platform;

+ + MCSE Mobility.

+ Desirable Certs:

+ + Citrix CCE-V;

+ + MCSA Windows Server 2016;

+ + MCSE Private Cloud and Infrastructure;

+ + Minimum of 1 MCSE/A.

Location:

Field based. We would welcome applications from candidates who live in and around the South East due to frequent travelling to customer sites around the country.

Hours:

9.00am to 5.30pm / Monday to Friday. (37.5hrs per week).

Salary:

Up to £60,000 per annum plus a car allowance of £350 per month + 15% of basic bonus.

The performance related bonus will be driven by the candidate achieving agreed KPIs throughout the year.
