* Knowledge of cryptographic technology
* Sound working experience with cryptographic mechanisms
* Experience in leading staff work on large and complex projects or responsible for significant research work
* Experience on internal business staff process
* Experience in preparing and delivering decision briefings and presentations to the management group
* Experience in NATO
Desired skills
* Knowledge of NATO cryptographic services and capabilities
* Familiar with NATO cryptographic equipment, systems and architecture
* Experience with cyber security architecture development
* Experience in designing cyber security systems
* Experience in the development of operational requirements
* Experience on lifecycle management
* Experience in developing doctrines, concepts, strategy and policy
* Experience in project definition, documentation and implementation
* Experience in project coordination, tracking and management processes
* Experience in analysing missions and identifying implied tasks
* Manages and updates the Cryptographic Modernisation Timed Roadmap
* Monitors and plans Alliance cryptographic progress
* Monitors the operational impact to current and future Alliance Operations and Missions
* Ensures mitigations and corrective actions are planned and implemented
* Implements / Monitors the implementation of operational contingencies and mitigation measures Prepares relevant reports to be presented to the Nations
* Provides support to cryptomodernisation related activities as required
