Prestigious international Law Firm currently seek a 2nd line Deskside Support Technician to work on site at London HQ.

The role of the Deskside Support Analyst is to provide second line IT support to the business. This involves taking ownership of incidents & requests that have been assigned / escalated to the Deskside Support team and troubleshooting these through to resolution in a timely and consistent manner meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands, thus cultivating a first-class consistent experience for the business. Key Technical remit includes Windows 7 - Windows 10, SCCM admin MS Office 03; 07; 10, Active Directory, Group Policy, Laptop, Tablet, Printer Networks, In-house Applications; Citrix remote access tools.

The role of 2nd line Desktop Support Analyst / Senior IT Support Analyst is to assist in ongoing business as usual support tasks. User base of approximately 1300 with the HQ based in London; support of internal users. Standard working week based on shift patterns between 08:00 and 18:00. The role is focussed on 2nd line desktop support: we require 3 - 5 years` experience at this level and candidates will ideally be MCSE / ITIL foundation accredited with strong experience of working in a Law Firm or similar professional services environment.

You will support users on a face-to-face basis, remotely where appropriate, and deal with overflow support calls from the service desk during busy periods. You will respond to 2nd line support issues by identifying problems, resolving them over the phone, via remote software support tools or at the desktop. Support calls will relate to desktop technologies Win7 & Win 10 (Laptops, PC`s, Macs, Mobile Devices including Samsung Android, Blackberry and iPhones) as well as basic server and network issues with Windows Server; Active Directory/Group Policy.
