Premier Field Engineer - O365 / Skype for Business

If so, the Premier Field Engineer (PFE) position is for you! My client, a global powerhouse within the technology industry, is looking for a Premier Field Engineer to provide technical leadership to their customers as an SME for O365 and Skype for Business - The initial contract will be until 30th June initially and you'll be assisting customers around the UK - 65% of customers are based in London, but role is UK wide.

PLEASE NOTE: This role involves a lot of travel, which you would be able to expense

As a Premier Field Engineer, you will:

* Educate and guide customers by delivering workshops and webinars

* Help customers with their journey to the cloud

* Deliver proactive services such as risk assessments, code reviews, and disaster recovery plans

* Help customers with troubleshooting and problem resolution

* Be the technical expert for customer projects and deployments

* Mentor other Premier Field Engineers

* Contribute to business goals and continuous improvement initiatives

* Travel to customer sites will be required

* By establishing, maintaining, and growing a trusted advisor relationship with our customers, you will accelerate their adoption and productive use of Microsoft products.

Candidate Requirements

* Consulting experience 5+ years ideally

* Skype for Business experience, specifically working within deployment

* Professional experience in supporting Enterprise IT solutions or applications

* Knowledge of Skype for Business Server and hands-on experience in managing, supporting and troubleshooting the product

* Knowledge of Microsoft Teams

* Experience of O365 migrations

* Fundamental knowledge of related cloud technologies: Active Directory, Windows Server, Network Services, Hyper-V, Storage solutions, Office 365

* Experience in managing and troubleshooting enterprise scale organisations is desirable

* Knowledge of alternative industry solutions is an advantage

* Collaborative, problem solver who is creative and confident

* Customer driven

* Ability to present and communicate technical findings to all audiences

* Ability to influence outcomes in ambiguous settings

* Willingness and desire to learn cloud technologies

* Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting IT issues

* Good balance between business and technical acumen

Nice to Have:

* Intune - plus to have not required

* Deployment experience from big companies, HP services, big bank. Telecoms companies

* Skype/Teams - background

* Exchange Consultant experience
