Data Management & Migration Lead - Edinburgh - ETL

Support the data management and migration approach required to achieve successful transition between legacy and target ERP/HR applications.

Assess the legacy applications, processing, record and data structures to understand stakeholders' data requirements,

Analyse the financial, commercial and HR 'As-Is' data content to determine the data quality, recommending appropriate responses to findings,

Determine the financial, commercial and HR 'To-Be' data structures to understand data set-up requirements, data gaps and mapping requirements,

Build on the existing data management and migration strategy, developing this into the plan for data transition, and support the projects business' functions transition to the new ERP/HR applications and systems,

Conduct pre-transition validation and corrective action exercises,

Manage the data creation, data extraction from different Enterprise applications, data transformation and data load into the target ERP/HR applications, with validation testing

Experience of using data migration/ETL tools

Relevant experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, and translating requirements into a data management and migration strategy.

Proactive analysis and problem solving skills.

Excellent judgement, organisation, communication and presentation skills.

Able to effectively present solutions to stakeholders.

A track record of working in change environments.

Experience of working with blended teams with a collaborative approach to solution design, development and implementation at all levels within the organisation.

Readily accepts responsibility and delivering to tight deadlines
