Senior Java Developer - Birmingham - Greenfield

My client is at the forefront of a wave of change in Fintech. They have created a platform that reduces fees and allows for growth in small and medium sized businesses that are often overlooked, yet provide majority of the gains in our economy! The goal is to revolutionise the industry one step at a time and it is very much achievable!

The role: Full life cycle software engineering...

* Work within a core Agile team to develop efficient, fully tested and performing applications.

* Perform development to agreed technical standards

* Participation in team refinement meetings to ensure requirements are understood before development;

* Assistance in defining acceptance criteria;

* Participation in team meetings;

* Contribution to and understanding of deployment processes;

Requirements:

* Java 7/8+/ J2EE Framework

* Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, MVC and Data, JPA & Hibernate

* Working knowledge of Jenkins or other CI solutions;

* SQL

* RESTful

* Experienced building high performance distributed Java applications
