Role: BI Analyst / Developer

Duration: 3 Month rolling contract

Location: Leeds

Rate: £400p.d

My large utilities client based in Leeds are looking for a BI Analyst / Developer to support the development and maintenance of the Business Intelligence capability and associated delivery of information management and data analytics initiatives within the business. The Business Intelligence Data Platform will be used to deliver data, information, reports and data analytics to internal customers to meet a variety of business needs in a timely manner.

You will be responsible for Assessing technical / business risks whilst on projects, with appropriate mitigation, Supporting Application Support Analysts and DBAs throughout the release process, and producing technical designs as part of elaboration in projects.

Knowledge / Experience

*Experience in creating multi-dimensional data warehouse environments using SQL Server

*Experience in implementing data integration and migration solutions, including data quality assessment and data profiling, ETL implementation (including stored procedures and DTS package creation) and change data capture procedures

*Some experience in administrating and maintaining live BI architectures, including performance tuning and technical issue resolution
