Fantastic Benefits (listed below) + Competitive Salary based on commercial experience!
Do you have a passion for technology? Would you like to work alongside a likeminded highly-capable team?
Have you found that your current role has come to a standstill or stopped allowing you to develop?
My client works for some of the world's most high profile organisations, building business critical systems. The current need for a lead software developer is due to their ever expanding business which requires a central role for their projects in order for them to exceed delivery expectations. They are dedicated to allowing their employees to develop and expand in any area of specialism that they are eager to learn. The role also comes with the benefit of supported training or certification and mentoring at all levels.
The best part is that they are not looking for experience in any particular technology just so long as you can demonstrate your excellence and genuine passion for what you do!
You should have:
* Strong commercial experience with at least one technology (i.e. Microsoft or Open Source)
* Good technical design skills including, where appropriate, OO design principles and design patterns
* The ability to adapt and learn new technologies on the job
* Strong communication skills
Other desirable skills but not essential:
* Expertise in one or more of Java, C# .NET or HTML5 development, or Node for server-side development
* Knowledge of modern Front End frameworks such as Angular, React or Backbone, in addition to a good knowledge of JavaScript and CSS
* Strong knowledge of MS SQL and/or MS Entity Framework
* Some knowledge and experience of MS Azure or Amazon Web Services cloud-based applications
* Experience building ASP.NET MVC applications and experience with Web API and RESTful Web Services
* Knowledge of MS Team Foundation Server
* Experience using Agile/Scrum development methodologies and exposure to the full Software Development Lifecycle
* Knowledge of Unit Testing using MSTest and/or NUnit
Just some of the benefits included with this role are 25 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays) rising to 30 days with time in service, incremental death in service plan, Income protection insurance, childcare voucher scheme and the option of private medical cover.
