BID MANAGER

PERMANENT

MULTIPLE LOCATION OPTIONS - FARNBOROUGH, SALISBURY, WORCESTER

£40,000 - £45,000 + BENEFITS

The Job

You will drive the business approach to planning, preparing, writing and submitting bids

Responsible for supporting the achievement of in year order intake by preparing bids in support of Foundation Sales and advancing the capture phase

.

As the Bid Manager you will have early participation in the qualification of opportunities in the Order Intake Pipeline to improve future bid planning, execution and success.

Identify the resources required to deliver a winning bid and achieve approval from within the Business

Define the bid strategy, creating the bid plan and leading the team to deliver to the highest quality and on time, and in budget is a key part of your role

The Fit

You must have worked in a full life-cycle (qualification through to delivery) Bid position for c.3-5 years previously

This experience must have come from a technical industry such as Engineering, Defence, Nuclear, Oil & Gas etc

Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams must be demonstrated

If you have used Shipley processes this is beneficial so please note within your CV

Managing multiple Bids in parallel, APMO qualification and current SC clearance are also desirable but not essential
