DevOps Engineer

It's the best time of year to consider making a change. There is the new year up and coming rapidly and what better time to look at new opportunities. I am partnered with a leading digital consultancy firm, working on a number of projects within a number of different industries. While their standout client is the Public Sector, they are by no means limited to these projects. They have a huge reputation within the IT community for producing market leading, scalable solutions, using the latest technologies such as Java, Spring and Hibernate.

You will be representing my client onsite, surrounded by a team of talented engineers. Your role in this team is dependent on your experience and opportunities are ranging from Mid-Level through to Senior positions. You will be providing your expertise to client's to build cost effective, timely, software packages.

Logistically, your week will consist of 4 days on client site, with a day from home at the end of the week. Your travel to client sites is paid for by a generous expenses scheme which includes travel, hotel and food and drink (up to £30 a day) on a company American Express card. The ideal candidate can travel UK wide but your travel expectations will be considered and, wherever, possible you will be placed within commutable distance of your home.

Naturally, there are technical requirements to every role. For this role, candidate should be able to demonstrate experience within at least 2 of the following 3 technologies. These are:

* Java.

* Spring/ Hibernate.

* Microservices.

Candidates with experience in automation technologies would also have an advantage.

Salary wise, these roles range from £40000 through to £75000 (DOE), and there also a number of benefits. These include the expenses package but, also on offer, are buy back holiday options, private medical insurance, bonuses (at higher levels), generous pension schemes, and more.
