.NET DEVELOPER - ALL LEVELS

Leeds (Not City Centre)

Up to £60,000 + benefits

Spring Technology are seeking all levels of .Net Developers for our market leading client based on the outskirts of Leeds (with free parking!)

You will be working on a software package founded on the Microsoft technology stack which utilities the latest versions of the .Net Framework, C#, Angular JS, Windows 2008 / IIS 7 which is moving to Windows 2012 / IIS 8.5 and SQL Server 2012.

The main responsibilities of the role include but not limited too:

*Develop software following industry best practices within the companies scope of projects and architecture.

*Author unit tests and work collaboratively to test that software meets acceptance criteria.

*Work collaboratively with product owners, architecture, design and infrastructure teams to meet client requirements.

*Assist in the maintenance of the process for packaging and releasing software; and supporting the delivery of software to production.

*Participate in planning, retrospective, review sessions and daily stand-ups.

*Encourage the continuous improvement of the team.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

*Experience as a Microsoft full stack Developer using C# and .Net Framework 4.5 and above.

*Experience of developing in Visual Studio 2012 and above.

*Excellent knowledge of Microsoft web technologies including ASP.Net MVC and Web API.

*Practical knowledge and experience of developing REST APIs using JSON.

*Experience of multi-tier service based architectures.

*Understanding of micro-services or service bus an advantage.

*Working knowledge of securing web applications and OWASP.

*Good working knowledge of Entity Framework, SQL Server and MongoDB.

*Understand performance and tuning of applications including within database.

*Exposure to WCF and SOAP Web Services.

*Working knowledge of WinForms or WPF development.

*Understanding of authentication and authorisation using OpenID Connect and OAuth2.

*Experience of working within waterfall and agile SDLC processes, including TDD/BDD.

*Practical knowledge and experience of unit testing, mocking or faking frameworks and gherkin language.

*Clear understanding and experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

*Finance sector experience would be preferred and extremely advantageous, particularly UK consumer lending.

*Understanding of skills, tools and patterns for Continuous Delivery including: TeamCity, Subversion, Nuget, OctopusDeploy, Powershell Scripting.

*Ability to manage and prioritize multiple development activities simultaneously.

*Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated.
