DevOps Engineer

£35,000-£85,000

As a globally known brand who rely on their DevOps teams to work on the very latest digital transformation projects, my client are looking for Engineers to flesh out their teams. The role has come about due to acquisition of multiple new projects, and this is testament to their desire to expand and grow their business and take on new projects with the very latest technology.

The role itself is a varied one, with work spanning from the design and implementation of cloud solutions, testing and deployment. You will be required to work in small, agile teams who work collaboratively to come up with the best solutions for clients.

Key Responsabilities:

* Actively encouraging synergy between Development and Operations teams

* Provisioning of systems

* Automation, Monitoring, metrics and scalability of systems

* Ensuring security is a priority

* Providing the means to enable smooth automation

Experience needed in some of the following:

* Working on AWS Platforms, configuring them and monitoring them

* Strong Linux Administration skills

* Fluency in at least one scripting language (BASH, Shell, Python, Ruby, Java)

* Experience of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation)

* Production experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Bamboo, Puppet, Chef)

* Orchestration of Kubernetes Clusters or creation of Docker containers
