Senior Backend Developer (Python) required to join a fast paced market leading client. My client Has AI at the heart of a very established product and an incredible tech stack. Shares available and given my clients previous track record these could change your life.You will need the following:
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain various processes that involve sourcing potential customers for Bark from across the web and other sourcesDesign and develop various other key operational processes that power the business, such as emailers, data analysers, monitoring engines and moreInvestigation / bug fixing in the projects you ownCollaborate with the team in all phases of the development lifecycleContribute to the monitoring and running of our service as well as analytics and insightsTo explore multiple approaches to solving problems, make well-reasoned design decisions and tradeoffs and effectively communicate them to the team and stakeholdersProviding input into architectural decisions and be confident in communicating complex ideas and outcomes to peers and managersWork effectively in a true agile startup environmentDesirable skills Our tech stack and challenges are varied, and we use the best tools for the job at hand:AWS (EC2, RDS, Route53, SQS, CloudWatch, Lamda etc)Linux (Ubuntu and Centos)MySQL, Aurora RDS and Redis (Elasticache)PHP (NO FRAMEWORK)ElasticSearchJS and SocketsApache
Required skills Developing complex Python applicationsScraping from the webMachine learning, AI and analysing big dataExcellent knowledge of MYSQLHosting (ideally AWS), operations and deploymentAble to demonstrate having learnt new skills such as languages or systems on the job
