Project Portfolio Manager - Manchester City Centre - Up to £60,000

My client is looking for a Project Portfolio Manager to be the single point of contact for leaders within the compnay.

Main Responsibilities

* To scope, schedule and plan the delivery of the IT projects portfolio

* Forecast the delivery costs, resourcing requirements and ensure alignment of delivery teams to meet Business and Client implementation commitments.

* Create and manage regular, comprehensive reporting forums and mechanisms, tailored to the stakeholder group.

* Building and maintaining a portfolio of in-flight and pipeline projects.

* Developing & maintaining relationships with key internal and client stakeholders; influencing 'buy-in' to delivery approach, prioritisation and plans.

Skills Required

* Leading portfolio visioning and execution - identifying goals, objectives, and motivating and leading others towards their achievement.

* Experience of providing clear, comprehensive project and portfolio KPI reporting.

* Accredited and practiced in working with both agile and waterfall project methodologies.

* Experience of project & programme methodologies and management of pipeline of demand.

* Scrum Master - worked as or has the certification

* Worked in Agile Environments / PMI Agile Certified Practitioner

* Exposure of software development projects and software development life cycle methodologies
