Project Manager

My market leading client is looking to recruit and experienced Project Manager at their Warwickshire head office as a result of continued growth.

The Project Manager will lead, control and manage large and complex projects (up to £5m in budget) through the full project lifecycle from definition to transition into business as usual and support large projects in accordance with the defined change framework.

Key responsibilities:

*Define large and complex projects including scope, deliverables, roles and responsibilities and ensure they are clear, agreed and communicated to all key stakeholders.

*Plan, structure, track, report on and lead project activity.

*Design, establish and lead the project team ensuring the appropriate skills and behaviours are in place to enable project delivery in an efficient and cost effective way.

*Source, select, procure and manage third party suppliers.

*Anticipate, monitor, manage and report on progress, risks and issues.

*Plan, prepare, approve, deliver and evaluate communications and key messages to ensure the effective flow of information to project team members and stakeholders.

*Build and maintain internal and external business relationships to ensure the effective and successful delivery of project deliverables as defined in the project scope.

*Deliver short term / one-off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager.

Key Experience, Skills and Qualifications required:

*Experience of successfully delivering projects based upon time, cost and quality criteria.

*Experience of leading and managing a project team

*Experience of running multiple projects concurrently

*Experience of establishing effective relationships with and influencing stakeholders

*Excellent knowledge of project management best practice, including techniques for planning, monitoring and control

*Knowledge of Programme Management preferred

*PRINCE 2 (or equivalent project management qualification) is essential

*Change Management Certification is desirable
