As a long-established approved IT recruitment partner to this global banking group, we have been asked to assist with the identification of a contract Senior Linux Engineer to provide Linux Administration Support across the EMEA Linux estate.

Environment tuning

Performance tuning

Architectural design

Satellite management,

Backup and data protection

Patch and service pack updates plus DNS and related technologies.

Good working knowledge of Oracle desirable.

Oracle v8 - 12c

Experience in design / configuration and installation of geo-dispersed active / active application deployment preferred.

Red Hat Certified Engineer / Red Hat Certified Architect

Bank / Banking

This role may suit an individual who has held the following roles: Linux Engineer, Linux Administrator, Linux Systems Administrator.

There may be a requirement to work 1 week in 4 on-call for which an extra on-call allowance would apply.
