IT Applications Specialist (Salesforce)

My award winning and market leading client is looking for an IT Applications Specialist (Salesforce) to join their growing IT team at their newly refurbished head office in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

As the IT Applications Specialist you will provide an enhanced application support and implementation service for Salesforce and other applications. Primary users are based in USA, as such working hours may need to flex to accommodate this. Occasional travel will also be required to the USA.

Key responsibilities:

*Forward direction & roadmaps of Salesforce and other supported applications

*BAU configuration of Salesforce and other supported applications

*Implementation of changes to Salesforce and other supported applications

*Escalated support issues and requests via Service Management Tool

*Application automation monitoring and responses

*Supplier support call referrals

*Application knowledge base, work instructions and process documentation

*Take ownership for the end to end service supported applications provided

*To respond to escalated issues, troubleshoot and resolve in timely manner - as a third line resolver group

*To undertake service requests and administrative updates where requested

*To plan, validate testing of and deploy application releases

*To make and test changes to configuration where required to meet BAU or project aims

*To provide consultancy, guidance, change services where relevant and acceptance into service input to projects and change activities seeking to build on the supported services

*To ensure changes are implemented in a controlled manner under appropriate change control and governance

Key skills and experience required:

*In-depth knowledge of Salesforce (SalesCloud)

*Proven experience of supporting Salesforce

*Customer focused approach

*Ability to work in a fluid business environment and adapt to changing priorities

*A pro-active approach and proven track record of taking ownership and facilitating change

*Experience working in a change management environment and applying change governance and controls

*An ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and ideas to a non-technical audience

*Excellent organisational skills and the ability to take the lead in co-ordinating the efforts of stakeholders and suppliers

*Understanding of the key concepts of the ITIL framework

*Experience working with third party suppliers for the provision of support

*Any knowledge of InsideSales, Pardot, Nintex would be advantageous.

*General expertise in CRM, including the use of Microsoft Dynamics would also be a bonus.
